Life Together: Small Groups Through the Eyes of God. Pastor John preaches the first in a two part series: “Small Groups: Get Connected”
For the next two Sundays we will be taking a break from our studies in Philippians to look at the role of supportive small groups in the life of a follower of Jesus. Small groups are not just a passing fad. Instead, the Bible clearly indicates that they are to play a huge part in the personal growth of God’s people. Individual isolation is toxic to growing as a Christian. Supportive relationships are like air to spiritual health. You see, belonging to a small group dedicated to helping its members become better disciples of Christ isn’t simply a nice thing to do if you happen to have the time and inclination. Rather, being part of such a small group is actually foundational theological truth for living the Christian life to the fullest.
