Unity is essential to having healthy relationships that are filled with constant joy. Sadly, achieving harmonious oneness between each other is easier said than done. The truth is, many of us feel like the guy who said, “I love mankind; it’s people I can’t stand!” So how do we get over ourselves and instead become unified in heart with those in our church, family, workplace, and neighborhood? Well, in our last study we looked at the “resources” for unity that Jesus gives to all His followers. In this study, we want to discover the steps He tells us to take in terms of putting those resources to use. As we follow what Jesus says, we will experience the Holy Spirit produce relational unity resulting in fantastic joy between ourselves and others. Oh yes, this will also delight the heart of God! It will dramatically strengthen Christ’s Church too! And one more thing to see, this is the life testimony that will draw others to faith in Jesus! So, yea for unity!
