Our message today will take us over the “same ground” of Scripture that we looked at together last time. In the course of our first study through Philippians 2:5-11, we saw it from a lifestyle perspective. We learned about the “ultimate attitude of joy” that Jesus possessed and how that attitude could become ours as well. Today we want to view this passage from a theological vantage point. These verses contain wonderful truths about the magnificence of Christ as His awesomeness is beautifully portrayed. The more we take a good look at this part of God’s Word, the more we will come to realize what a great Lord we have in Jesus! No wonder every knee will bow to our Savior. No wonder every tongue will proclaim He is Lord. No wonder all glory will ultimately go to the Father who gave us His Son.
