Megan was born and raised right here in Kent, WA just a few blocks away from Faith Church!  After graduating from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) with degrees in History, English, and Secondary Education she returned to Kent to teach at her alma mater Kentwood High School.  After teaching History and English at Kentwood High School for a few years, she felt the call to go into full-time ministry, and joined the Kent Young Life staff where she has worked for the last 17 years in various positions from direct ministry, area administrator, associate area director, and most recently Area Director for the last 5 years.

 Serving in Young Life has been a part of her life since she accepted Jesus at Malibu in the summer of ’97 and began to do ministry in Pullman while at college.  Just recently, as life at home got busier and crazier, Megan stepped out of her full-time role with Young Life and now gets the joy of working part time as the Front Office Admin here at Faith Church, while still getting to serve as a volunteer Young Life leader with her husband Jason.  Megan is married to her best friend, and together they have 5 beautiful children. Most of the time you will find the Jones family cheering each other on at whatever sport season they are in!  But in their free time they love to go to the lake, travel or spend time with friends and family!
