Jesus came and told His disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”  Matthew 28:18-20

We are excited to share with you information and projects of various missionaries who have touched our lives at Faith. The following missionaries are those supported by this church through our prayers and regular financial support.  For more information, contact Pastor Ron here.

Muslim World

Faith Church has sent out and currently supports seven families and singles that are serving the Gospel among Muslim people groups throughout the world.  Due to very sensitive security concerns for their ongoing work, and for the well-being of the underground churches they serve, we are unable to publish their names or pictures on the web.  If you would like more information on how to pray or support our workers in the Muslim world, or how to serve on a short-term team in their regions, contact Loren or Karen Marston here

USA

Brion & Connie Frakes minister with the AWANA organization, equipping churches and parents to raise Christ-following kids for life.  Awana helps churches and parents worldwide raise children and youth to know, love and serve Christ! They do this through: fully integrated programs for ages 2 to 18; the best evangelism tools to reach unsaved children, youth and families; teaching that builds an enduring biblical faith and resources; bringing churches and parents together to disciple the next generation; initial and ongoing volunteer training; healthy mentor and peer relationships; and dynamic fun for children, teens and adults alike!

Ivan & Beth Paz Beth serve through the InterVarsity Fresno Institute for Urban Leadership. They disciple and train a team of young people with an emphasis on urban ministries.  They have recently invited 11 new interns to live and minister in inner-city Fresno at the Pink House project.  The interns will develop as leaders in the context of Biblical Community as they engage Urban Ministry.

Mark Richardson works in the Prisoners for Christ Outreach Ministries (PFC), a nondenominational Christian prison ministry based in Woodinville, WA, near Seattle.

Prisoners for Christ Outreach Ministries is dedicated to taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the jails, prisons, and juvenile center in the Northwest.  They accomplish this task through worship services, Bible studies, special concerts and performances and one-to-one visitations.

Those serving are dedicated to personally sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the jails, prisons, and juvenile centers of the Northwest.  They are now expanding throughout the United States with a popular Bible study correspondence course. They are also expanding internationally with offices in Nairobi, Kenya and Penza, Russia.

Mexico

Dave & Patricia Burdette minister with Caravan Ministries in Mexico. Dave has been a facilitator for the SERVE teams of high schoolers that travel to Tijuana every three years. Students help build houses, conduct Vacation Bible School with children, and minister to the people. Dave focuses on mobilizing youth to a lifestyle of sharing their faith and challenging them to be either a “goer” or a “sender”. Many of the youth at Faith have been impacted by his ministry beginning with the first SERVE in ‘92. Dave is also involved in discipling and in challenging Mexican young people to be involved in world missions. When in the area, Aaron welcomes Dave to challenge our youth.

Eddie & Maggie Passmore work very closely with Dave & Patti Burdette in the Caravan Ministries in Mexico. They run the day to day ministry which trains young people and hosts SERVE and other short term mission groups.

Argentina

Scott and Ruth Millar are starting two new churches in Catamarca, Argentina through Converge Worldwide.  They are helping develop leadership, not only for these two churches, but for other existing churches and for new church plants.  They hope to start another church soon for the downtown area and are constantly praying that people will overcome the fear of change and be converted to Christ.  They also need a piece of property for a worship center building project.

Brazil

Rick & Carol Stark serve through Converge Worldwide.  They work at planting multiplying churches by prayerfully finding where God is at work in “People of Peace” (people who influence & who immediately bring others to Christ & church) in the greater Rio de Janeiro, Brazil area among the urban poor & working classes.  They have a passion to work with God in raising up missionaries that plant multiplying churches among all the peoples, especially the unreached.

Uruguay

Dick & Bev Young are church planters in Montevideo, Uruguay with Converge Worldwide.  Uruguay is the most unreached country in South America and Montevideo is the most unreached region in Uruguay.  They teach, preach and train Uruguans.  Their children are grown.  One daughter also serves as a missionary in Montevideo.
